Robot Pelvis 🤖 (Day 159)
We're exploring what it means to stand@attention. This week we're focusing on the base of our torsos – the foundation of our core physical/emotional/cognitive/awareness support.
Today we took a close and fun look at some of our more advanced robot cousins dancing. Specifically, we looked and (using our mirror neurons) felt our way into the structure and function of their lower torsos – (thighs) pelvis, lower belly and lower back. Notice how strong and firm they are in these areas! These robots are built in our image, and in them we can see/feel how we're put together, underneath all our skin and viscera.
PRACTICE
Focus on your lower torso and put a bit of robot-style support into your standing, sitting, lying, moving/dancing, etc.
