Positive Reactions 🙂 (Day 80)



Yesterday we had a high-level overview of our negative emotional reactions. Today we're looking at their opposite positive ones.


We don't pay quite as much attention to these are they don't feel like a problem. Generally speaking, we're happy because, in that moment, we're getting what we want – "I like it!" But our positive reactions are also a problem for us, as we'll soon see. But first, we just want to notice them coming and going.


PRACTICE

Using your human awareness, and your harnessed monkey concentration, notice your positive (mammalian) emotional reactions coming and going. See if you can describe what you're feeling in a word. Notice differing levels of intensity as well.
