Today we're heading into the brain-gym in order to build our concentration muscle (which creates the balanced and ideal mental state of Calm-Focus). The exercise we're doing involves noticing our breath and re-focusing after every distraction.
Building a muscle is simple, but not easy, so we're going to start with a lighter weight and increase over time from there. You're already able to notice 1-breath (simple and easy, most of the time), so we're going to up the stakes a bit and notice 3-breaths at a time.
As you go about your day, pause whatever you're doing and notice three consecutive breaths. Do this many times!
